Candidate will be part of a team of developers designing and implementing user interfaces for open-source and proprietary web applications.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Web Standards for XHTML, CSS, and DOM-Scripting as well as proficient with Ruby on Rails and advanced javascript development techniques.
*extensive experience developing web applications in other languages can be substituted as long as a strong desire to work in Ruby exists.

The ability to identify, create, and implement beautiful design is a critical skill-set.

This person must have a strong understanding of browser compatibility issues that currently exist on the web today.

Semantic markup, progressive enhancement, graceful degradation, and web accessibility, are all topics of great importance to this person.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a must.

Experience with Linux/Unix is a must.

Proof of relevant experience is required.

Contributes to definition standards, guidelines and processes for software development and produces documentation for all development projects. Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent; 3 plus years of web and web application development experience; proficient in CMFL programming including CFCs; Solid understanding of MSSQL, as well as other aspects of web development such as HTML, CSS, XHTML, etc. .Net and Farcy CMS is preferred. Knowledge of Cold Fusion, SQL Server and Java Script is preferred.
