The Web Applications Developer has responsibility for developing and maintaining the web site and internet-based applications that allow Rush Health Associates (RHA) to fulfill its ongoing goals and objectives. The Web Applications Developer also ensures data integrity of website databases, functionality of web applications, and usability of website and web applications.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
* 1-3 years experience with design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications.
* Proficiency in ASP.Net, VB.net, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Visual Basic, Visual Interdev, Visual Studio, Visual Source Safe required
* Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Crystal Reports, DHTML, C#, Web Services and XML a plus.
* Demonstrated high degree of knowledge of hierarchical, relational, and object oriented databases required.
* Preference for a candidate who has experience in sourcing data from a data warehouse environment, preferably using Sequel Server tools (i.e., SSRS).
* Some project management or project lead experience preferred.
* Experience in healthcare, managed care or physician practice management is preferred.
* Must have a strong customer service orientation, good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
* Must be able to manage several projects at once.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize.
